About Information and Technology Services
Our Mission:
Information and Technology Services is charged with leading the University in the delivery and support of technology as it relates to the University's teaching, research and service functions. As a service to the University Community, Information and Technology Services connects constituents with knowledge by combining information, experience, and technology leadership; and assures the availability and security of the University Information Technology Infrastructure through effective and proactive management of its’ entrusted resources.

Advanced Technologies - staff
Advanced Technologies at Arkansas State University develops and tests new applications for the University, supports the online learning system and researches and implements emerging technologies.
Client Services - staff
Client Services at Arkansas State University is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of system implementations, helpdesk services, technical support, and manage a subset of key accounts.
Communication Services - staff
As a division of Information and Technology Services, Communication Services provides all communication needs to the campus of Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. Communication Services is also responsible for maintaining all voice and data communications at the ASU system level.
Enterprise Application Services - staff
Enterprise Application Services supports administrative computing for the ASU community. Using the SunGard HE Banner suite of services, EAS provides an integrated system encompassing Student/Financial Aid, Financial, Human Resource/Payroll, Development and various ancillary application integral to the core business functions of the University.
Systems Services - staff
The Systems Services Department at Arkansas State University is the foundation that supports the enterprise servers, which include astate and student domains, backups, and the email infrastructure.
Telecommunications - staff
Arkansas State University provides equipment, services, and other resources for use by its employees and students for necessary business related to employment and educational responsibilities.
Web Services - staff
The Web Services team at Arkansas State University analyzes, designs, and develops usable, accessible web applications. Developing and customizing web templates where required for use in web applications, supporting and maintaining web applications. Handing over web applications to client/user (e.g., documentation, installation and testing, integration with other systems, helpdesk services).
